About Me

You're not lazy. You're not broken. You're not having a midlife crisis.

You're just stuck — and somewhere underneath the noise of your daily life, you know there's a version of you that's more alive than this.

That feeling is exactly why you're here.

In my early 40s I was doing everything I was supposed to do. Career, performance, output. Checking the boxes. And it was quietly destroying me.

Two ER visits in two years had a way of making things clear.

I could keep living the life I'd built — or I could start building the one I actually wanted. Not someday. Now.

I hit reset at 41. No master plan. Just a decision and a first step.

I started moving my body. Eating like I gave a damn about myself. Getting brutally honest about what I actually wanted — not what looked good on paper, not what other people expected, but what I genuinely wanted my life to feel like.

It was slow. Messy. Nothing like the transformation stories you see online. But something started shifting — not just in my body, but in how I saw myself. Who I thought I was allowed to be.

At 50 I left corporate for good. Not because I'd arrived somewhere. Because I'd become someone who could take the next step without having all the answers first.

That's the thing nobody tells you about change. You don't wait until you're ready. You move, and readiness follows.

Since then I've spent thousands of hours coaching midlife professionals through their own versions of this — people who are stuck, unclear, and quietly miserable, who know something has to change but don't know where to start or whether it's even possible at this point.

It's always possible. I've never seen an exception.

What I've learned after all those hours is this: people aren't stuck because they lack discipline or motivation. They're stuck because they're unclear. About what they actually want. About who they're becoming. About whether they deserve to want more.

That's what I help people solve.

I'm 53 now. Still figuring out what I'm capable of — right now that looks like trail running and pushing this body in ways I never imagined in my 30s. Same process I used with CrossFit years ago. Find the thing that scares you a little. Make it sustainable. See what happens.

Still building this business. Still becoming this version of myself.

I'm not telling you this story from the finish line. There is no finish line. I'm on the same road you're on — just further along, and pointing back at what helped.

This is Swells of Change.

Change doesn't come in straight lines. It comes in swells — building beneath the surface long before you can see it, then arriving all at once and moving you somewhere new. Sometimes you're riding one. Sometimes you're getting worked underwater. Sometimes you're just paddling and waiting and trusting that something is building.

All of it counts. None of it is wasted.

If you're somewhere in that process — frustrated, rebuilding, or simply ready to stop living someone else's version of your life — you're in the right place.

Most of what I know is here, and most of it is free. Because my goal was never to make you need me. It's to give you everything you need to move — and be here when you hit a wall you genuinely can't get past alone.

Take what helps. Leave what doesn't. And keep going.
